Noteworthy Keeps up Momentum into the New Year
Noteworthy Collections works hard every day to design, manufacture and print one-of-a-kind cards, invitations and stationery for you and your customers. We’ve been making huge strides in our printing process and the different kinds of papers that we offer. As a push for recycled paper becomes more and more popular, we knew that we had to adjust and accommodate. Noteworthy offers 100% recycled paper as an option for all of our customers. Even if you do choose regular paper you will be happy to know that 10% of the regular paper is recycled as well.
We are working on lowering other waste items in and around the company, which include items dealing with our new Snap Stampers, shipping and other processes. The Snap Stampers are good for saving packaging waste to your customers. The packaging for any product is a big waste as well as a big cost for almost every company that sells tangible products. Cutting down this very costly side of manufacturing creates an open door for more creative recyclable packaging initiatives. We are striving to one day reach this goal, however for now, we are doing what we can by reducing waste.
Shipping, also a large expense for businesses, is another area in which we are trying to be more “green.” Cardboard is recyclable and we try to recycle is as much as possible. We also reuse good boxes and we encourage our customers to as well. Almost every recycling area has a spot for cardboard; it just needs to be flattened. Taking a few more minutes to flatten your cardboard boxes is highly recommended to just throwing them away.
All in all we hope that everyone is buying into the “green” lifestyle. It is truly not just for businesses, but for everyone! If we all just did a little bit, we could end up doing a lot. In fact, “buying-in” probably is a bad term for becoming more environmentally friendly, because you actually save money by doing it.
